NATCHEZ— Services for Victor Cordell Green, 49, of Douglasville, Georgia, formerly of Natchez, who died Friday, Jan. 17, 2020, in Douglasville, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Holy Family Catholic Church.

Burial will follow at the Natchez City Cemetery under the direction of West Gate Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 5:30 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home and from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.

Mr. Green was born Sept. 19, 1970, in Natchez, the son of David Green and Diane Bernard Green.

He was a graduate of North Natchez Adams High School and attended Southern University.  Victor was a barber by trade.  He was baptized at an early age at Holy Family Catholic Church.  Victor enjoyed grilling, fishing, and restoring antique vehicles.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Duncan Green, Willie Mae Green, Willie Ross and Marthaleen Bernard.

Survivors include his companion, Shandra Robinson; his parents; two sons, Justin Green and Jalon Green; two stepdaughters, Chelsey Robinson and Swan Robinson; two sisters, Monica Norman and husband, Samuel, and Kimberly Harris and husband, Anthony; one niece, Jayla Harris; three nephews, Brandon Evans, Bryant Evans and Tyler Harris; two great-nieces, Baylei and Graclyn; three uncles, Donald Green and wife, Harriet, Frank James and wife, Vanessa, and Lynell James; one aunt, Shelly James; and one special great-aunt, Beatrice Lewis.

Victor was loved by a number of cousins and friends.
