NATCHEZ— Services for Randolph Brown, 58, of Dallas, formerly of Natchez, who died Thursday, Jan. 9, 2020, in Dallas, will be 1 p.m. Friday at New Hope Baptist Church.
Burial will follow at Hunt Cemetery under the direction of West Gate Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from noon until service time Friday at the church.
Mr. Brown was born Oct. 10, 1961, the son of Joseph Brown and Winnie Mae Brown.
He was a graduate of North Natchez Adams High School and was retired from Carroll Company. Randolph was a member of Pleasant Green Baptist Church. He enjoyed playing dominoes, watching football — especially his favorite team, the San Francisco 49ers.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Joseph Brown Jr.; one sister, Barbara Jean Brown; one niece, Teshunda Brown; and grandparents, Clarence and Carrie Brown and Benjamin and Deliah Johnson.
Survivors include his wife, Kela LaShonne Brown; three sons, Jeremy Hammond, Randolph Hammond and Taryn D. Smith; one daughter, Cartie T. Smith; godson, Javarion Jones; five brothers, Jerry Brown and wife, Carolyn, Darnell Brown and wife, Angela, Elvis Brown and wife, Felicia, Kendrick Brown and wife, Jennifer, and Tremaine Brown; two sisters, Rosemary Brown-Dotson and Cheryl Brown; five grandchildren, Jeremiah Grinelle, Cayden King, Kobe Ware, Zoe Matheney and Londyn Valentine; and other relatives and friends.
