BUDE— Services for Wilhelminia Brown Griffith Patterson, 71, of Bude, who ided Friday, Jan. 10, 2020, at Franklin Memorial Hospital in Meadville, will be noon Saturday at Sweet Home Baptist Church in Bude with the Rev. Troy Magee officiating.

Burial will follow at Meadville-New Fork Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. today at Marshall Funeral Home Bude Chapel and from 11 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.

Ms. Patterson was born Oct. 4, 1948, in Bude, the daughter of W.G. Brown Sr. and Inez Elzey-Brown.

She was a licensed practical nurse (LPN), a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and served on the usher board.

Ms. Patterson was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Juanita Scott; and two brothers, André Brown and Stephon Brown.

Survivors include three loving children, Charles Humphreys, James Griffith and Edith Griffith Brown; three sisters, Gloria Thomas, Beverly Bradford and Nellie Woods; two brothers, W.G. Brown Jr., and Joe Jones; four grandchildren, Erin Huckbly, Erica Brown, Eric Brown Jr. and Kyle Brown; five great-grandchildren, Ahlana Huckbly, Giana Brown, John Huckbly, Aaron Huckbly and Georgia Grace Brown; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
