WATERPROOF — Services for Veronica V. Woods, 45, of Waterproof, who died at her residence, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Myrtle Grove Baptist Church in Waterproof, with the Rev. Jarrod R, Bottley officiating.

Burial will follow at the Oakwood Cemetery in Waterproof under the directions of Concordia Funeral Home of Ferriday.

Visitation will be from 5 to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mrs. Woods was born in Waterproof, the daughter of James and Annie Bell Robinson.

She was a physical therapist.

She was preceded in death by her father.
She is survived by her mother, Annie Bell Robinson; six siblings, James Robinson Jr. and wife, Romanda, Christopher Robinson and Dorothy Robinson, all of Waterproof, Pamela Smith and husband, Frank Jr., of Ferriday, and Gwendolyn Robinson and husband, Freddie Cameron, of Winnsboro, Louisiana; two aunts, Cassie Robinson and Mary Robinson, both of Waterproof; three uncles, McKinley Robinson of New Orleans, Arthur Robinson Jr. and Willie Robinson, both of Chicago; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends and loved ones.
