A celebration of life for Louise Gore, 92, of Vidalia, La., will be held at Vidalia First Baptist Church on Monday, Dec. 23, 2019, at 1 p.m. with Dr. Wes Faulk, Dr. Ralph Webber, and Bro. Clare Shields officiating. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park, under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home.
Louise Gore was born on Saturday, Oct. 15, 1927 in Rich, Miss., and passed away Friday, Dec. 20, 2019, in Natchez. She was a member of Vidalia First Baptist Church. Louise was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and friend. She will surely be missed.
She was preceded in death by her husband- John “J.B.” Gore; parents Jess Duty and Areva York Duty; son Bren Gore; son-in-law Marty Probst; and two sisters Betty Sue Wilkins and Donna Duty.
Survivors include: her daughter- Debra Probst of Vidalia, LA; grandson- Matthew Probst and wife Emily of Pineville, LA; granddaughter- Kimberly Warren and husband Eric of Vidalia, LA; grandson- Jason Gore and wife Tiffany of Clinton, MS; grandson- Jeremy Gore of West Monroe, LA; eight great-grandchildren- Bolton Probst, Maddox Probst, Zach Warren, Madison Warren, Marty Grace Warren, Bren Gore,Jonathan Gore, and Jake Gore; niece- Gail Tipton and husband John of MO; and some special friends- Lois Temple, Mae Palmer, Tommy and Cheryl Probst, and Carol Thomas.
Pallbearers will be Matthew Probst, Eric Warren, Zach Warren, Tommy Probst, Clare Shields, and Jason Gore.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Dr. Kenneth Stubbs, Dr. Edward Daly, Dr. Blane Mire, Robert Warren, Charlie Stevens, and Whest Shirley.
