Congratulations Ferriday Trojans!
The Ferriday High School football team prevailed Friday evening to win the school’s first state title in more than 50 years.
The Trojans went into the game the No. 1 seed to face the No. 2-seed Many High School Tigers.
The Trojans proved they were deserved the top billing and dominated the game after the first quarter winning 56-17.
The team’s success going 14-1 overall this season energized the community and brought out a loyal fan base that, as stadium signs proclaim, “Can’t Hide That Trojan Pride!”
No doubt that pride will shine for quite a while and the celebration will continue for weeks to come.
We’re proud of the Ferriday High School Trojans and their successful state championship season.
Congratulations, Trojans!
Job well done!
