NATCHEZ— Services for J.W. Hall, 66, of Natchez, who died Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2019, at Merit Health Natchez, will be 11 a.m. Friday at Pleasant Green Baptist Church with the Rev. Jerry Johnson officiating.  

Burial will follow at the Natchez National Cemetery under the direction of West Gate Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Friday at the church.

Mr. Hall was born June23, 1953, in Franklin County, the son of Willie B. Hall and Willie Mae Hall.

He was a retired veteran and a member of Pleasant Green Baptist Church.  J.W. enjoyed fishing, cooking, grilling and spending time with family.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Henry Clark.

Survivors include his wife, Brenda A. Hall; one son, J.W. Hall Jr.; one daughter, Doris D. Thomas and husband, Leon Sr.; one aunt, Shirley Dickey; two grandchildren, Juanita and Leon Jr.; three great-grandchildren, Christian, Aamiyah and Ashton; one sister-in-law, Louella Simons and husband, Harold; two brothers-in-law, Larry Frye and Terry Frye; and a number of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
