Friday Prep Football Preview
Published 12:01 am Friday, November 8, 2019
Seven playoff games are on the lineup tonight with three of those teams in the quarterfinals rounds.
Besides the seven playoff games, the Game of The Week is Natchez High Bulldogs vs. South Jones High Braves.
In order for the Bulldogs to make it to the Mississippi High School Activities Association playoffs, the Bulldogs need to defeat South Jones High and Brookhaven needs to beat Forest Hill. If neither of those two options happen, then Natchez High will not make the Class 5A playoffs.
South Jones and Natchez are tied at fifth place with a 2-4 record against other Region 3 teams.
Tonight is senior night for Natchez and 11 seniors will be honored.
The kickoff is set for 7 p.m. today at Tom F. Williams Memorial Stadium at Natchez High.
