NATCHEZ— Services for Kora Kathleen “Katie” Boyd, 77, of Natchez, who died Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2019, at her residence, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Washington Baptist Church with the Rev. Carl Smith officiating.
Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today and from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.
Mrs. Boyd was born April 28, 1942, in Huron, California, the daughter of Franklin Cleo Weaver and Ducye Mearl Willoughby Weaver.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bobby Boyd; and two brothers, Gary Weaver and Wendell Weaver.
Survivors include two children, Shelby Ensminger Jr. and wife, Lorri, and Sandra Powell and husband, Mike, all of Natchez; two sisters, Jeanne Pimmentel and husband, Bob, of Fresno, California, and Shannon Coryell and husband, Dale, of Brady, Texas; six grandchildren, Trey Ensminger and wife, Stacy, Chris Ensminger and wife, Kim, Josh Powell and wife, Summer, Ashley Alford and husband, Justin, Kody Greene and husband, Johnny, and Kylie Hart and husband, Jack; 11 grandchildren, Ben, Dylan, Matthew, Lily Claire, Charleigh Kate , Rayme, Reed, Jack, Andrianne, Reagan Kate and Harper; one sister-in-law, Polly Weaver of Deer Park, Texas; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
