Workers from Natchez Monument Company and Landscape Resources installed the Proud to Take a Stand Monument Wednesday at the corner of Jefferson and Canal streets. The monument will be dedicated at 9:30 a.m. at the City Auditorium Saturday. Civil Rights leader and former Atlanta mayor Andrew Young will be at the dedication ceremony.
