FERRIDAY— Services for Jacqueline Ellis, 63, of Ferriday, who died Tuesday, Sept. 24, 2019, at Christus St. Frances Cabrini Hospital in Alexandria, Louisiana, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Zion Hill Baptist Church in Ferriday with the Rev. LeRoy White officiating.

Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home in Ferriday.

Visitation will be from 5 to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Miss Ellis was born Sept. 29, 1955, in Ferriday, the daughter of Thomas Harts and Virdella Ellis.

She was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Thomas Ellis.

Survivors include two daughters, Robin Ellis of Houston and Tosyha Ellis of Grand Prairie, Texas; four sisters, Judy Ellis, Marilyn Jackson and Cheryl Ellis, all of Ferriday, and Gloria Ellis of Las Vegas; two special nieces, Kelby Ellis and Jourdin Ellis; a special nephew, Caleb Ellis, all of Ferriday; three grandchildren, Ariel Ellis of Houston, Jayden Buford and Taylor Thomas, both of Grand Prairie; and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.
