The Community Alliance of Natchez and Adams County is hosting a reception at 5:30 p.m. today to update people on the organization’s projects and to gather input on future projects the organization might pursue.

The Community Alliance of Natchez and Adams County is a diverse group of organizations working together on community development projects.

Past projects of the Community Alliance of Natchez and Adams County included creating 6 miles of walking trails in downtown Natchez.

The alliance is considering creating bicycle paths and bicycle routes in the area and linking those to Natchez National Parks sites.

The organization also is considering ways to facilitate community events.

The meeting will be held at 5:30 tonight at the Historic Natchez Foundation on Commerce Street.

Show up and pitch your idea. While you’re there you might hear a better idea and be able to offer tips on how to make those ideas even better.

Then you could consider pitching in and helping pull it all together.

With that kind of teamwork, we’re sure Community Alliance of Natchez and Adams County will be successful at improving the community.
