WHITE HALL, Arkansas — Graveside services for Virginia Dees Clifton Perry, 77, of White Hall, Arkansas, formerly of Natchez, who died Wednesday, Sept. 18, 2019, are 2 p.m. Saturday at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Natchez.
Arrangements are under the direction of Robinson and Fuller White Hall Funeral Chapel in White Hall.
Mrs. Perry was born Dec. 27, 1941, in Crosby, the daughter of E.V. and Vetha Bryant Dees.
She was raised and received her early education in Natchez, graduating from Natchez High School.
She married Jerry Glenn Clifton July 2, 1966. As a devoted wife and mother, Mrs. Clifton took care of Mr. Clifton for 30 years as he fought polio while raising her family. She even became a licensed respiratory therapist so she could keep her husband at home as he fought polio.
She was a skilled, self-employed interior decorator and landscaper. Mrs. Virginia loved a clean and decorated house. She had wonderful decorations for every season.
After the death of Mr. Clifton in 2012, Mrs. Virginia married Mitchell “Mickey” Perry in 2014.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband; one brother, Howard Dees; and one sister, Pauline Huff.
Survivors include her husband, Mitchell Perry; two sons, David Clifton and wife, Rhonda, of Natchez, and Stephen Clifton and wife, Lindy, of Vicksburg; and a number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, stepchildren and step-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the donor’s favorite charity.
