FERRIDAY— Services for JayLyn Guice, 20, of Ferriday, who died Wednesday, Sept. 11, 2019, at her residence, will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Word of Faith Ambassador Outreach in Ferriday, with the Rev. Dr. Robbie Cade Furdge officiating.   
Burial will follow at Barcelona Cemetery under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home in Ferriday.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Miss Guice was born Aug. 20, 1999, in Ferriday, the daughter of Jacob Guice Jr. and Stephanie Lambert.
She was a 2017 graduate from Ferriday High School and was attending Southern University in Baton Rouge.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Fayard and Floyd Webb Lambert; and paternal grandmother, Shirley Guice.
She leaves to cherish her beautiful smile with her father and his wife, Dawn, of Waterproof; her mother; two sisters, Rashonna Davis and Myesha Lambert, all of Ferriday; paternal grandfather, Jacob Guice Sr. of Waterproof; four uncles, Fayard Lambert Jr. and wife, Renee, Casey Lambert, Quincy Lambert, all of New Orleans, and Tracey Lambert and wife, Patrice, of Atlanta; and a number of other family and friends.
