FERRIDAY— Memorial services for Reva Irene Benoit, 71, of Ferriday, who died Thursday, Sept. 12, 2019, at St. Francis Cabrini Hospital, will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Young’s Funeral Home Ferriday Chapel with the Rev. Ron Ferrington officiating.
Visitation will be from noon until service time Sunday at the funeral home.
Reva Irene Benoit was born Sept. 2, 1948, in Ferriday, the daughter of Howard Raymond Blount and Gertrude Beard Blount.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include three sons, John Westley Benoit and wife, René, of Houma, Louisiana, Justin Michael Benoit and wife, Evelia, of Magnolia, Texas, and Jeremy Allen Benoit and wife, Jennifer, of Longwood, Florida; one sister, Lynda Blount Cantu of Ferriday; one brother, Howard Allen Blount and wife, Peggy, of Ferriday; and six grandchildren, Madeline Grace Benoit, Sophia Evelia Benoit, Justin Edward Benoit, Dylan James Benoit, Taylor Rene Benoit and Madison Kate Schelte.
