FAYETTE— Services for James Ware, 71, of Natchez, who died Monday, Sept. 9, 2019, at his residence, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Pine Grove Baptist Church in Stampley, with the Rev. Charles R. Carradine officiating.
Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.
Mr. Ware was born Oct. 9, 1947, in Jefferson County, the son of Willie Herrington Sr. and Gertrude Ware.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter; and five siblings, Rose Lee, Shirley, Willie Jr., James and Jessie.
Survivors include one daughter, LaTosha Jackson Graze; one son, Jerry Williams and wife, Tomika; nine sisters, Ruby L. Ware, Deloris Green, Thelma Grayson, Laura Johnson and husband, S.D. Jr., Debbie Mims, Joyce Herrington, Betty Williams, Leola Herrington and Joann Herrington; seven brothers, Bernard Ware, Terry Ware and wife, Lorraine, Floyd Herrington, James Herrington, Claude Herrington, Benjamin Herrington and Bernard Herrington; 10 grandchildren; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
