FAYETTE— Services for Mary Ellen Lowe-Lee, 67, of Fayette, who died Friday, Aug. 30, 2019, at Jefferson County Hospital, were 1 p.m. Saturday at Locust Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Bishop Curtis Smith officiating.
Burial followed at the church cemetery under the direction of West Gate Funeral Home-Fayette Branch.

Mrs. Lowe was born June 29, 1952, in Jefferson County, the daughter of Johnnie D. Lowe and Ella Mae Brown Lowe.
She was a 1970 graduate of Liddell High School and a member of Locust Grove Baptist Church. Her hobbies included riding around town, watching television, talking on the phone, cooking soul food and spending time with her daughters and granddaughters.
Mrs. Lowe was preceded in death by her husband, Willard Edward Lee; her parents; and two brothers, Johnny Lowe Sr. and Charles Lowe.
Survivors include two loving daughters, LaKotra Lee Anderson and husband, Madrid, and Lokenia Lee, all of Fayette; three granddaughters, Kenyierra Walker, Kej’trayanna Baker and Grace Smith; three sisters, Tracy Lowe, Linda Lowe Herrington and Bobbie Erves; one brother, Carl Lowe; and a number of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
