VIDALIA— Alice Cindy Walters, 62, of Vidalia, died peacefully at her home Wednesday, Aug. 21, 2019.
A private family celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
Mrs. Walters was born Oct. 12, 1956, in Natchez, the daughter of GT Kelly and Grace Kelly.
When Cindy departed this plane of existence, she left behind her soulmate, Ricky. The last words Cindy shared with her husband was her love for him. Her eyes bright with the love for him, shown upon him so that he would always cherish this time even though his heart was breaking. Their love and joy shared will always live on in him. Whenever their sons view themselves in the mirror, they will always see her in themselves.
Cindy was preceded in death by her father.
Survivors include her loving husband of 45 years, Ricky Walters; two sons, Rick Walters and wife, Natasha, of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, and John Walters of Vidalia; her mother of Washington; eight grandchildren, Darren, Hailey, Faith, Hanna Grace, Eli, Malachi, Promise and Alyssa Walters; one brother, Buddy Kelly of Jackson; one sister, Frances Garner of Natchez; and one sister-in-law, Frances Sikes of Alexandria, Louisiana.
