NATCHEZ— Services for Adam “DJ Mongoose” Frye Jr., 63, of Natchez, who died Tuesday, Aug. 20, 2019, at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Mariah Baptist Church in Fayette.  
Burial will follow at Pine Grove Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home’s Natchez chapel and from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.
Mr. Frye was born Aug. 13, 1956, in Fayette, the son of Adams Frye Sr. and Betsy R. Jones Frye.
He was preceded in death by sister, Bertha Lee Washington and three infant sisters; and two grandchildren.
Survivors include his loving and devoted wife, Stella Kennedy Frye; seven children, Adam Frye III, Kenny Stampley, Jamaica Parker, Rashia Parker, Davonna McQuarter, Shavonna Kennedy and Javon Jones; three sisters, Barbara White, Brenda Doss and Joyce Lee; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends who will miss him dearly.
