NATCHEZ— Services for Barbara J. Harris, 79, of Natchez, who died Tuesday, Aug. 6, 2019, at Merit Health Natchez, will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Melrose Church of Christ in Natchez with minister Michael Hoggatt  officiating.
Burial will follow at Sunset View Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. today at the funeral home’s Natchez chapel and from 10 a.m. until service time Wednesday at the church.
Ms. Harris was born June 15, 1940, in Natchez, the daughter of Johese Fort and Dorthy Castle.
She was preceded in death by her mother.
Survivors include one son, Lee Anthony Ford Sr.; three granddaughters, LeOndra J. Ford, LeZerrica D. Ford and Troncea Johnson; one grandson, Lee Anthony Ford Jr.; one great-grandson, Bryson Washington; and a number of other relatives and friends.
