FERRIDAY— Services for Eric Barron, 40, of Clayton, who died Sunday, July 28, 2019, in Clayton, will be 10 a.m. today at Young’s Funeral Home Ferriday Chapel with Tommy Barron officiating.
Burial will follow at Big Creek Cemetery, in Pollock, Louisiana, under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time today at the funeral home.
Mr. Barron was born April 6, 1979, in Ferriday, the son of Charles and Gayle Barron.
He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Coon Barron and Alice Wiggins Barron and Leroy and Leota Wilson; and stepfather, Walter “Shorty” Kirk.
Survivors include his parents; one brother, Billy King Jr. and wife, Tabitha; one sister, Ashley Kirk; special friends, the LSU gang; his birth mother, Susan Kirk; and a number of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other friends and family.
Pallbearers will be Shan Price, Jacob Matthews, Billy King Jr., Tater Gillespie, Jason Barron and Joshua Herrington.
Honorary pallbearers will be his fellow employees.
