LORMAN— Mass of the Resurrection for Roy Lane, 66, of Fayette, who died Monday, July 22, 2019, at his residence, will be 11 a.m. Monday at St. Anne Catholic Church in Fayette with the Rev. George Bede Ajuruchi officiating.
Burial will follow at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church Cemetery in Hariston, under the direction of Thompson Funeral Home Inc., in Port Gibson.
Visitation will be from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home and from 10 a.m. until service time Monday at the church.
Mr. Lane was preceded in death by his parents, John and Viola Strauter Lane, and two brothers, Johnny Lane and Harmon Lane.
Survivors include his wife, Irma Brinkley Lane; one son, Frederick Lane of Natchez; one daughter, Monica Lane Lawrence of Lorman; one sister, Irene Lane Turner of Louisiana; one aunt, Goldie Lee Wesley of Haughton, Louisiana; two grandchildren, Frederick A. Lane and Aniyah E. Lane, both of Natchez; and a number of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, including a special son-in-law, Demetrius Lawrence of Lorman and a special daughter-in-law, Keelia Ellis Lane, of Natchez.
