NATCHEZ— Graveside services for Sue Cox Davis, 61, of Monterey, who died Thursday, June 27, 2019, will be 12:30 p.m. Saturday at Springfield Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Glenn Harrigill officiating.
Burial will follow under the direction of Comer Funeral Home in Ferriday.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at Riverside Baptist Church in Vidalia.
Mrs. Davis was born Nov. 28, 1957, the daughter of Chester Allen and Jewel Berryhill.
She was known for her “green thumb” and selfless acts of kindness. She loved her grandchildren.
Davis was preceded in death by her father and one brother, Bill Cox.
Survivors include her husband of 40 years, Lucion Davis; three sons, Anthony Brownell and wife, Brandy, Luke Davis and wife, Miranda, and Ben Davis; five grandchildren, A.J. Brownell, Brooklynn Brownell Reese, Sara Davis, Kaitlynn Davis and Samuel Davis; one great-granddaughter, Caroline Reese; her mother; and one brother, Allen Cox and wife, Jeanie.
Pallbearers will be Jeff Colton, Louis McCurdy, Ben Davis, Luke Davis, A.J. Brownell and John Mark Bonnett.
Honorary pallbearer will be Samuel Davis.
