FERRIDAY— Services for Rickie Favorite, 54, of Waterproof, who died Saturday, June 22, 2019, will at 1 p.m. Saturday at Myrtle Grove Baptist Church.   
Burial will follow at the Good Samaritan Cemetery under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home in Ferriday.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home and from noon until service time Saturday at the church.
Mr. Favorite was born Aug. 22, 1964, in Ferriday, the son of Ernest Favorite Sr. and Mary Bailey Favorite.
Bro. Rickie was a of Pride of Waterproof No. 7, P.H.A., and Crescent Chapter No. 142, P.H.A.O.E.S.
Favorite was preceded in death by his father.
Survivors include his mother; two sons, Roderick Woods of Birmingham, Ala., and Rueben Woods of Sumiton, Ala.; one daughter, Tewanna Harvey of Waterproof; two brothers, Michel Favorite  and wife, Tonetia, of Raleigh, N.C., and Ernest Favorite Jr. and wife, Janet, of Marrero, La.; two sisters, Allison F. Stacker  and husband, Jerald, of Arlington, Texas, and Vickie Favorite of Grand Prairie, Texas; two grandchildren, Alona Woods and Azania Woods of Sumiton, Ala.; three great-aunts, Dorothy Spain, Brooklyn, N.Y., Connie Carol of Westwego, La., and Fannie McTier, Marrero; one uncle, Elijah Bailey Jr. of Waterproof; and a number of other family and friends.
