HARAHAN, La. — Graveside services for John S. Lofton, 47, of Harahan, La., who died Monday, June 17, 2019, will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Goodwater Baptist Church in Magee.
Arrangements are under the direction of Tutor Funeral Home in Magee.
Mr. Lofton was born Nov. 22, 1971, the son of Jack and Marie Lofton of Natchez.
John was a ray of sunshine to all who knew him. He loved life, music, sports (Saints and Tigers of course) and above all, his family and friends. He will be greatly missed by all.
Lofton was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Billy G. May of Magee; paternal grandparents, Rayford and Monell Lofton, all of Natchez; great-grandparents, John and Beulah May and Rice and Maggie Ainsworth, all of Magee;
Survivors include his parents; one sister, Allyson Hollier and husband, Greg, of Longview, Texas; two nephews, Cain and Dylan Hollier, of Arnaudville, La.; grandmother, Mary May of Magee; one uncle, James R. May of Magee; his cousin Bill; one aunt, Carol Ann Rushing and husband, Ronnie, of Natchez; one great-aunt, Rose Ainsworth; and a number of other relatives and cousins.
