NATCHEZ— Services for Harry Anderson, 59, of Natchez, who died Friday, June 7, 2019, at Glenburney Nursing Home, will be 11 a.m. Friday at New Beginnings Baptist Church with the Rev. LeRoy White officiating.
Burial will follow at Sunset View Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. today at the funeral home’s Natchez chapel and from 10 a.m. until service time Friday at the church.
Mr. Anderson was born Sept. 8, 1959, in Adams County, the son of the Rev. James C. Anderson and Katie Anderson.
He was preceded in death by his father; one brother, Cornelius Anderson; and grandparents, Harry and Rachel Anderson, Samuel McGloster and Beatrice Brown.
Survivors include his loving mother; one son, Courtney Terrond Bacon; three grandchildren, LaKeria, Courtney Jr., and Kamari; five sisters, Hattie Y. Clark and husband, Carl, Hazel M. Washington and husband, Wilbur, Yvonne Ivory and husband, Kelvin, Bonita A. Upshaw and husband, Henry, and Elisa L. Anderson; four uncles and three aunts, all of Port Gibson; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
