NATCHEZ — Helen Langlow, 85, died Friday, May 24, 2019, in Birmingham, Ala.
She was born Dec. 17, 1933, in Boston, and lived with her husband in New Orleans and Natchez.
She spent her final years in Birmingham. She was a kind and quiet person and developed a love of painting in middle age.
John Robins Langlow Jr., M.D., 90, died June 26, 2017, also in Birmingham.
He was born June 11, 1927, in Shreveport, La.
He was a corpsman in the U.S. Navy and practiced medicine for a number of years in New Orleans and Natchez. He spent his final years in Birmingham.
He was a kind and jovial person who lifted our spirits.
John and Helen were married April 25, 1959, and were inseparable ever after.
Survivors include their four children, John Langlow III of Birmingham, Faye Hensley of Summerville, S.C., Edward Langlow of Covington, La., and Lara Hoffmann of St. Joseph, Mich., and six grandchildren.
John and Helen Langlow are in their final resting place, side by side, at the Natchez City Cemetery, just as they desired under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
