CHURCH HILL— Graveside services for Luther Kelly O’Quinn, 59, of Church Hill, who died Monday, May 13, 2019, at Jefferson County Hospital in Fayette, will be 11 a.m. Friday at O’Quinn Family Cemetery with the Rev. Albert Parsons officiating.
Burial will follow under the direction Laird Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Mr. O’Quinn was born Jan. 25, 1960, in Natchez, the son of Thomas Jefferson O’Quinn and Marie Parsons O’Quinn.
He loved his two dogs; loved to eat; and loved life.  He loved woodworking and had a cabin that he always spent a couple of weeks watching the Little League World Series.
O’Quinn was preceded in death by his parents and one nephew, Louis Edgar Willard.
Survivors include his wife, Lynda A. O’Quinn; two stepsons, Benjamin Joiner and wife, Kelly, and David Joiner; two step-grandchildren, Christian Joiner and Arissa Joiner; five sisters, Edith O’Quinn, Linda Foster and husband, Bill, Ruth Baker and husband, Keene, Carolyn Wadsworth and husband, Alan, and Jenny Perry and husband, Gus, all of Church Hill; two brothers, Frank O’Quinn and wife, Kathy, of St. Augustine, Fla., and Jeff O’Quinn and wife, Ella Grace, of Pelahatchie; and a number of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and Parsons and O’Quinn cousins galore.
