VIDALIA— Services for Clinton Jackson Jr., 91, of Vidalia, who died Thursday, April 25, 2019, at Camelot Leisure Living Nursing Facility, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Stephens Baptist Church, in Vidalia, with the Rev. Leon Dixon officiating.
Burial will follow at the Vidalia City Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.
Mr. Jackson was born Aug. 19, 1927, in Vidalia, the son of Clinton Jackson Sr. and Vince Quinn Jackson.
He served as a deacon at St. Stephens Baptist Church.
Jackson was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Agnes Derozan Jackson; and two brothers, Johnny Jackson of Chicago and Samuel Jackson of Vidalia.
Survivors include eight children, Johnny Jackson and Samuel Jackson and companion, Ollie Hampton, all of Ferriday, Mabel Jackson Martin of Lake Charles, La., Jeanette Bergeron and Yashica Hayes and husband, John, all of Baton Rouge, Vancie Jackson Floyd and husband, Roger, of Buda, Texas, Bridgette Derozan of New Roads, La., and Brittany Daigre of San Antonio, Texas; and a number of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
