NATCHEZ — Funeral services for Clara Floyd Kimball Bass, 92, of Natchez, who died Friday in Vidalia will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Grace United Methodist Church with Pastor Linda Fox officiating. Interment will follow at Oakley Cemetery in Wisner, La., under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Young’s Funeral Home in Ferriday and at noon until service time Monday at the church.

Clara Floyd Kimball Bass was born on Thursday, July 22, 1926, in Gilbert, La. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church in Natchez.

She was preceded in death by two husbands, Lloyd Ree Bass and Wilbur Kimball; parents, James Griffin Floyd and Rachel Ermine Parker Floyd; one daughter, Rachel Ann Kimball; one grandson, Chad Streeter; one granddaughter, Leslie Edwards; one great-grandson, John “Trey” Wesley Mize, III; one brother, Clarence A. Jackson; and two sisters, Addie Naomi Humble and Mary Arriola.

Survivors include her two sons, Donnie Kimball and his wife, Paulette, of Frogmore, La., and Jerry Wayne Kimball of Natchez; two daughters, Faye Dell Allder and her husband, Daniel, of Pittsburg, Texas and Dorothy Gale Wright and her husband, Mike, of Shreveport, La.; one step-son, Lloyd Bass and his wife, Cheryl, of Dallas, Texas; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons, family, and church members.
