BOVINA— A memorial service for Elise McLemore Parker, 82, of Vicksburg, who died Monday, April 22, 2019, at her residence after a courageous battle with cancer, will be 10 a.m. Monday at Bovina Baptist Church with the Rev. Randy Burns officiating.
Mrs. Parker worked throughout her life as a waitress, a real estate agent and as a RV park attendant at Ameristar. She loved people and traveling. She had a number of relatives and friends who will sorely miss her.
Parker was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, William “Bill” R. Parker Sr.; her parents, Pascal and Louise McLemore; and one sister, Pearl Ann Barksdale.
Survivors include her six children, Billy Ray Parker, James Parker, Cathy Faits, Donnie Parker, Marcia Holland and Anna Tonnang; one sister, Janice Alexander; one brother, Burlyn McLemore; 14 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.
