WOODVILLE— A celebration of life for Leah Kathryn Webster, 55, of Woodville, who died Friday, April 19, 2019, will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at Newman Funeral Home Chapel, 504 Main St., in Woodville.
Arrangements are under the direction of Newman Funeral Home.
In this celebration, attendees are requested not to mourn, but to remember and celebrate the life of Leah and the impact she had on those around her.
There will be no formal service, but if someone would like to speak during the evening, they are welcome to do so.
Ms. Webster was born May 26, 1963, in Centreville, the daughter of George Pope Webster IV and Katherine Gail Morris Webster.
Leah was a graduate of Wilkinson County Christian Academy and West Virginia University where she earned a degree in wildlife biology. She was a member of First Christian Church, Disciples of Christ in Morgantown, W.Va.
She was preceded in death by her father; one granddaughter, Elora D. Wells; one brother, Gregory B. Webster; and grandparents, Green B. Morris and Edna Plitt Morris.
Survivors include her mother; one daughter, Texie Lea Pender Wells and husband, Brian; stepson, David A. Pender and wife, Jaime, and their children; an honorary daughter, Athena Cress and her children; two grandsons, Christian Kade and Rhys William Wells; two nieces, Jennifer Lea Gibbs and Edna Danielle Webster; two great-nephews, Joshua and Jude Mackenzie; two aunts, Mildred Wade and Jean Brown; a number of cousins; and former spouse, William David Pender.
