A look at last week’s good news items

Last week was full of good news, not the least of which included a great closing week of events for the Natchez Spring Pilgrimage.
Below we highlight some of the other good news items reported from the Miss-Lou last week:
4 Work is underway to modify a portion of the Natchez Mall to accommodate a new Planet Fitness location that is scheduled to open in the fall.
Having a national chain fitness facility invest in our community is certainly good news. Hopefully the business will find success and more businesses will see the value in investing in the Miss-Lou.
4 Concordia Parish School District held an event last week to celebrate the academic achievements of some 100 high school scholars in the district.
Congratulations to each of the scholars honored and congratulations to the school district for the achievement.
4 New Covenant Presbyterian Church on Homochitto Street in Natchez opened a new playground behind the church in hopes of attracting more young families to the church.
The playground is open to the general public and is a great offering for families.
That is just some of the good news from the Miss-Lou last week.
We will keep our ears to the ground for more good news to come this week.
Enjoy!
