NATCHEZ — Services for Charles Conner Burns, 78, of Natchez, who died Wednesday, April 3, 2019, at Merit Health Natchez, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Laird Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. David O’Connorofficiating.
Burial will follow at the Natchez City Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the funeral home.
Mr. Burns was born April 23, 1940, in Natchez, the son of Robert Emmett Burns Jr. and Mary Louise Wynne Burns.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Robert Wynne Burns.
Survivors include his wife, Therese Annette Burns; two children, Charles Conner Burns Jr. of Natchez and Theresa Louise Burns Anderson and husband, Herman Russell Anderson, of Charlotte, N.C.; and two grandchildren, Brendan Russell Anderson and Brigid Burns Anderson of Charlotte.
Memorial donations may be made to the Natchez Little Theatre, Cathedral School or to a charity of choice.
