NATCHEZ — Services for William C. “Rock” Terrell, 53, of Natchez, who died Thursday, March 21, 2019, at Merit Health Central in Jackson, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Grove A.M.E. Church with the Rev. James Johnson officiating.
Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Bateaste Memorial Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mr. Terrell was born Aug. 6, 1965, in Natchez, the son of Isaac Terrell Sr. and Mildred Mahalia Blanton-Terrell.
He attended South Natchez High School.
Terrell was preceded in death by his father; two brothers, Troy Anthony Terrell and Lovell Chartell Terrell; one sister, Creceda Terrell; grandparents; four uncles; two aunts; one nephew; and one niece.
Survivors include his mother; six sisters, Pearlenia Terrell, Brenda Terrell, LaDonna Williams and husband, Clarence, Brenda Washington, Joyce Williams and husband, John, and Dixie Terrell; five brothers, Isaac Terrell and wife, Debra, D’Isaac Terrell, Edward Bacon, Carl Terrell, Eric Terrell and wife, Tonya; sister-in-law, Barbara Terrell; a longtime friend, Huey McCraney; and a number of aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.
