NATCHEZ— Graveside services for Edwin René Travers, 58, of Ferriday, who died Sunday, March 24, 2019, at Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria, La., will be 12:30 p.m. Friday at the Natchez National Cemetery with the Rev. Danny Lewis officiating.
Burial will follow under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home in Ferriday.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Miss Travers was born Dec. 27, 1960, in Ferriday, the daughter of Lionel and Edna Marie Long Travers.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Kendrick Travers; and one sister, Jinx Travers.
Survivors include three brothers, Lance Travers of Ferriday, Lionel Travers Jr. of Waterproof and Dr. Richard Travers of Lafayette, La.; three sisters, Jerrolyn Travers of Houston; Jacqueline Jackson of Gaston, S.C., and Robbie Travers of Ferriday; and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
