NATCHEZ— Services for Betty C. Green, 80, of Natchez, who died Thursday, March 7, 2019 at Merit Health Natchez, will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Laird Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ronnie Randall officiating.
Burial will follow at Ephesus Cemetery in Jefferson County, under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from noon until service time Saturday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Green was born June 11, 1938, in Natchez, the daughter of Thomas Mack Cupit and Ruby Hazel Dillon Cupit.
She was a member of the Communications Workers of America. She and her husband traveled to a number of antique car shows and were collectors themselves. She also enjoyed oil painting and had a hobby making and painting ceramics. Her grandmother and mother taught her to quilt and she enjoyed quilting with friends.
Green was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Earl A. Green; and one brother, Thomas Maxie Cupit.
Survivors include one son, Thomas Gregory Green; one grandson, Thomas Dillon Green both of Denham Springs, La.; two nephews, Kevin Cupit and wife, Allison, and their children, Will and Wynn Cupit of Vacherie, La., and Kennon Cupit and wife, Susan, and their children, Ryan and Lauren Cupit of Mobile, Ala.; and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
