NATCHEZ — Services for Robert James Williams Sr., 56, of Natchez, who died Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2019, at Merit Health Natchez, will be noon Friday at George F. West Sr. Memorial Chapel at West Gate Funeral Home with the Rev. Edward Brown officiating.  
Burial will follow under the direction of West Gate Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 4 to 5:30 p.m. today and from 11 a.m. until service time Friday, both at the funeral home.
Mr. Williams was born Dec. 15, 1962, in Louisiana, the son of Willie James Williams and Litrice Thomas.
After graduating from high school, he joined the U.S. Marine Corps where he served for 8 ½ years.
Robert enjoyed listening to music and watching football.
He was preceded in death by his father and two brothers.
Survivors include his mother; his wife, Mary Griffin; one son, Robert James Williams Jr.; one daughter, Seanniethea Williams; two sisters; and other relatives and friends.
