NATCHEZ — Services for Dewanna Allgood, 59, of Natchez, who died Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2019, at her residence, will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Immanuel Baptist Church with the Rev. Dillon Wickliffe officiating.
Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until service time Saturday at the church.
Ms. Allgood was born Sept. 13, 1959, in Natchez, the daughter of Dewey Ottis Allgood and Laverne Pittman Allgood.
She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church for a number of years. She was the owner of D&L Allgood Computers. Her love was family, visiting, cooking, her flower gardens and her pets. She was a South Natchez graduate and attended a number of colleges and business schools. She had a master’s degree in computer science and mathematics.
Allgood was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Dewey Darrell Allgood.
Survivors include one brother, James Kent Allgood Sr.; one nephew, James Kent “Jimmy” Allgood and wife, Carla; one great-nephew, Justin Kent Allgood, all of Natchez; one uncle, Tommie Pittman of Columbia; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be friends and family.
Memorials may be made to Immanuel Baptist Church.
