NATCHEZ — Services for Hanna Steele, 25, of Monterey, who died Monday, Feb. 25, 2019, in Vidalia, will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Natchez Church of God.
Burial will follow at Steele Family Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. until service time Thursday, both at the church.
Miss Steele was born July 9, 1993, in Natchez, the daughter of Ricky Steele Jr. and Sherry Denny.
She was a cheerleader, loved to dance and loved her dog, Timmy. She was an extraordinary painter with a beautiful and unique talent.
She was preceded in death by her father; paternal grandparents, Westley Steele Sr. and Bessie Steele; maternal grandfather, Ralph Denny; and great-grandmother, Adelia Faulkner.
Survivors include her loving uncle and aunt who raised her as their own, Ted and Ceil McCarstle; her mother and stepfathers, Cap Presgrove and Rob Bailey; a devoted fiancé, Robbie Todd; grandparents, Wade and Diane Fitt; one brother, Hunter Bailey; one stepsister, Wendey Steele; two stepbrothers, Richard Steele and Dillon Presgrove; special friends, Annie Todd and Ronnie; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Tyler Longmire, Ricky Anders Jr., Billy Wayne, Jerry Wayne Rodgers Jr., Alan Ensminger and Dustin Gooden.
Honorary pallbearer will be Ashton Bank.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Natchez Humane Society.
