VIDALIA — Services for Ellen L. Anderson, 83, of Vidalia, who died Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2019, at her residence, will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Zion Baptist Church, 601 N. Magnolia St., in Vidalia.
Burial will follow at Whitehall Cemetery in Vidalia under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home in Ferriday.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time Thursday at the church.
Mrs. Anderson was born May 29, 1935, in Vidalia, the daughter of Louvenia Anderson Woodard.
She was a retired chef.
Anderson was preceded in death by her mother; two brothers, John Woodward and Isom Woodward; four sisters, Eloise Turner, Leola Ellis, Anna Mae Brown and Florida M. Reese; and a special aunt, Vinnie Jones.
Survivors include one daughter, Cassandra Lynch of Vidalia; one son, Aaron Anderson and wife, Matilda, of Oklahoma City, Okla.; two sisters, Ruby Davis and Elnora Albert of Vidalia; a niece who was raised as a sister, Helen Ellis Lloyd of Vidalia; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
