NATCHEZ — Services for David Lynn White, 71, of Natchez, who died Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2019, at Merit Health Natchez, will be 1 p.m. Monday at First Baptist Church in Natchez with the Rev. Dr. Bill Hurt and the Rev. Dr. Doug Broome officiating.
Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday and noon until service time Monday, both at the church.
Mr. White was born Oct. 15, 1947, in West Point, the son of Irvin White and Peggy Ellis White.
He was preceded in death by his father; one son, James Earle White; grandparents, Henry Ellis and Katie Lee Ellis; and one brother, Dale White.
Survivors include his wife, Ann White; four children, Elizabeth “Liz” Farmer and husband, Gary, of Natchez, Joel White and wife, Patsy, of Milton, Fla., Kathrine “Katie” Calhoun and husband, Marc, of Alabaster, Ala., and John White and wife, Cathy, of Bourg, La.; 11 grandchildren, Caleb White, Sam White, Trevor Farmer, Brock Farmer, Jansen White, Dillon Calhoun, Eli White, Jake Bradley, Jesse Bradley, Laura White and Sierra Calhoun; three great-grandchildren, Elliott White, Cecelia White and Jack Bradley; his mother of West Point; and one sister, Dixie Shirley and husband, Billy, of Columbus.
Pallbearers will be Caleb White, Sam White, Trevor Farmer, Brock Farmer, Jansen White, Dillon Calhoun, Eli White, Jake Bradley, Al King and Tommy Davis.
Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Bill Rice Sunday School Class, Travis Shirley and Jesse Bradley.
