NATCHEZ — Services for Jeanne Turner Dean, 46, of Natchez, who died Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2019, at Merit Health Natchez, will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Greater Mount Bethel Baptist Church with the Rev. Kenneth Speaks officiating.
Burial will follow at Selstown Cemetery, in Stanton, under the direction of Bateaste Memorial Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 4 to 5 p.m. today with a ceremony from 5 to 6 p.m., both at the funeral home.
Visitation will continue Saturday from 1 p.m. until service time at the church.
Mrs. Dean was born Aug. 19, 1972, in New Orleans, the daughter of Patricia Speaks Lyles.
She was a graduate of Alfred Lawless Sr. High School in New Orleans. She was a homemaker, caregiver and a member of Greater Mount Bethel Baptist Church.
She enjoyed spending time with her family and shopping.
Dean was preceded in death by her grandparents, Robert Speakers Sr. and Margaret Speaks; and one nephew, Walter F. Harris III.
Survivors include her husband, Marlon D. Dean; one daughter, JohnKeia Fleming of Irving, Texas; her mother and husband, Melvin, of Natchez; three sisters, Margaret Elloie and husband, Rayfield, Dana Carroll and husband, Gregory, of New Orleans and Krystal Turner of Gulfport; one brother, Jessie Turner and wife, Barbara, of Natchez; mother-in-law, Audrey Dean of Natchez; sister-in-law, Tiffany McKnight and husband, Robert; two brothers-in-law, the Rev. Irving Dean and wife, Renee, and Brad Dean and wife, Jessica, all of Natchez; and a number of other relatives and friends.
