NATCHEZ — Services for Patricia Ann Drake Chaney, 66, of Natchez, who died Monday, Feb. 11, 2019, at Merit Health Natchez, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Melvin White officiating.      
Burial will follow at Sunset View Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of West Gate Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 4:30 to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Visitation will continue Saturday from 10 a.m. until service time at the church.
Mrs. Chaney was born on Nov. 8, 1952, in New Orleans, the daughter of Johnnie Drake and Dorothy Washington Drake.
Patricia was a 1970 graduate of Sadie V. Thompson High School.  She retired from Walmart SuperCenter in 2014. She served as president of the usher ministry at Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church.  She enjoyed attending church services, watching cooking and game shows and spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, James A. Washington; and her paternal and maternal grandparents.
Survivors include her husband, Garnett Chaney Sr.; three sons, Garnett Chaney, Jr. and wife, Michelle, Darrell Chaney and Brian Chaney and wife, Tuckeeyon; four brothers, Johnny A. Drake and wife, Shelia, Theodore S. Drake and wife, Genell, Frederick Drake and wife, Tasa, and George Drake and wife, Eugenia; three sisters, Joanett Drake, Linda Drake and Laura N. Drake and husband, Isaac; one grandson, Daylon Broadway; mother-in-law, Irma Ivory and husband, Willis; special friends, Laura Whittley and Gayle Morris; and other relatives and friends.
