NATCHEZ — Graveside services for Laura Ruth Palmer Baker, 87, of Natchez, who died Sunday, Feb. 3, 2019, at Promise Specialty Hospital, will be 2 p.m. Friday at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Vicksburg with Judge Forest A. Johnson officiating.
Burial will follow under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
Mrs. Baker was born Sept. 24, 1931, in Preston, the daughter of Henry Curtis Palmer and Elsie Burrage Palmer.
She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church and a member of the Eastern Star Chapter No.75 OES. Mrs. Baker was retired from South Central Bell Telephone Company.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother.
Survivors include her husband of 59 years, Raymond G. Baker; one sister, Nan Casciaro of Meridian; one niece; and three nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to Grace United Methodist Church of Natchez or to a charity of choice.
