VIDALIA —Services for Theresa Whitehead, 64, of Vidalia, who died Sunday, Jan. 20, 2019, at Merit Health Natchez, will be noon Thursday at Riverside Baptist Church in Vidalia, with the Rev. Glen Harrigill officiating.           
Burial will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery, in Hamburg, under the direction of Franklin Funeral Home in Meadville.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and from 10 a.m. until service time Thursday, both at the church.
Mrs. Whitehead was born Sept. 14, 1954, in Corpus Christi, Texas, the daughter of Billy Thomas and Mary Thornton Graves.
She was a longstanding member of Riverside Baptist Church. She loved her church and was faithful to its ministries. Her greatest joy was to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Whitehead was preceded in death by her father; stepfather, Clyde Graves; one sister, Kat Case; and one great-grandson, Hunter Hewitt.
Survivors include her husband of 35 years, Johnny Whitehead; one daughter, Barbara McNeese and husband, Bob; three sons, Paul Wilkinson Jr., Johnny Whitehead Jr. and wife, Sarah, and Jesse Whitehead and wife, Kristi; her mother; three sisters, Rita Taylor and husband, Marvin, Dottie Beavers and husband, Dale, and Sharon Butler and husband, Michael; three brothers, Billy Thomas, Larry Graves and wife, Charnell, and Gerald Graves and wife, Martha; brother-in-law, Freddie Case; 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and a number of family and friends.
