NATCHEZ — A double service for Elizabeth June Tyson-Masline, 62, who died Oct. 28, 2018, at her residence in Millbrook, Ala., after a long battle with renal cancer and her mother, Alice June Tyson-Halford, who died Sunday, Jan. 13, 2019, as a result of complications from influenza, will be 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Pavilion at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.
Burial will follow under the direction of Sebrell Funeral Home in Ridgeland.
Ms. Masline was born Nov. 28, 1955, in Natchez, the third daughter of Noel H. Tyson and Alice June Tyson.
She was a 1974 graduate of Natchez Adams High School. Her career spanned 35 years in the field of dentistry. She was trained as an orthodontist assistant and dental assistant and was licensed in five states from California to Florida.
Beth had a special fondness for nature and being outdoors brought her great joy. She also had a passion for canines, no matter what the breed.
Masline was preceded in death by her father in 1970 and on Jan. 13, 2019, her mother.
Survivors include three sisters, Georgia Diane Tyson Leonard of Atlanta, Aydell Tyson and Renee Tyson Turner of Brandon; two nephews, Beaux Leachman and Austin Turner; one great-niece, Aleshia Leachman; one great-great-niece, Aya Leachman; all of Brandon; and her ex-husband of 35 years, David Masline.
