Happy Thanksgiving 2018. How do we honor God? With thanks.

We all know how to honor and thank our Lord and savior Jesus Christ for all of His many bountiful blessings that He has given us.

We just thank Him for who He is and we just give Him honor, glory and praise.

He said in the word Isaiah chapter 42, verse 8: I am the Lord that is my name and my glory: I will not give to another neither my praise to graven images.

So as we celebrate this Thanksgiving season, we honor God every day. There are countless reasons to thank God, including for who he is.

So we have plenty of things to be thankful for. So as we recognize the blessings in our lives today we celebrate Thanksgiving with just being alive on His planet Earth to look up toward the heaven and to say, Lord Jesus Christ, we thank you for being so good to all of us.

Father God, you put food on our table. You open up doors that have been shut.

You make a way out of no way. That’s the kind of God we give honor to and thanks. God has given this day to us as a gift to worship Him through offering up our thanks to Him.

We offer to our Lord and savior Jesus Christ praise of admiration. Thank God for being the all-powerful God that he is.

So as we gather together families, friends, loved ones to have a good time at this joyous time of Thanksgiving, we gather together to ask the Lord’s blessing.

Colossians, chapter 4, verse 2, says Continue in prayer and watch in the same with thanksgiving.

Psalm 100, verse 4, says, Enter into His gates with thanksgiving and into His courts with praise, be thankful unto him and bless his name.

Our Supreme Creator is worthy to be praised and honored with thanks.

So, happy Thanksgiving, everybody. Enjoy each other’s company. There is nothing like family coming together.

The songwriter says, “We are family!”

I have been writing a Thanksgiving article now for 12 years. I started in 200u7 and I thank God along with others for the opportunity.

The songwriter says, There is so much that the Lord has done for me…

We can’t pay your Lord. Oh, but we can say thank you.
