NATCHEZ —Natchez Ballet Academy held a final rehearsal Thursday night for this weekend’s performances of “The Nutcracker: A Christmas Ballet.”
The performances will be 7 p.m. today and 4 p.m. Saturday at the Natchez City Auditorium, 207 Jefferson St.
Performances run approximately 2 hours each including an intermission.
The two lead dancers this year are Christin Smith, who will perform as the Sugar Plum Fairy, and Graci Gamberi, who will perform as Clara.
Tickets can be purchased at the door for $15 for either show.
A mother-daughter tea will also take place from 2 until 3:30 p.m. Saturday at the Natchez City Auditorium.
Tables will be decorated with themes representing characters in the performance and foods relating to those characters will be served.
Tickets for Saturday’s tea and show are $20, while tickets for just the tea are $10.
