Grab your favorite Elves and head to Natchez Brewing Company on Sept. 30 to watch dem Saints!
“Christmas in Natchez” is at it again and inviting you to “Eat, Drink and Be Giving.”
This time we have partnered with one of our favorite local spots for Sunday Funday — the best day of the week.
Bring your cash for the $10 or $20 Football Boards (winner of the pot splits winnings with “Christmas in Natchez”), grab a brew and watch the game on the big screen. High Street Tacos will be open for business and a jump house for the kids will be provided.
Big Drew and the Bubbadelic will be dressed for the occasion and playing some tunes. The game starts at 3 p.m. but the party starts at 1 p.m.
For those wondering, what is Christmas in Natchez?
The “Christmas in Natchez” Committee was formed in 2009 to boost business for the downtown merchants during the Christmas Season.
Over the course of the years, the committee uncovered a new purpose, along with its original intent, and helped update the annual Christmas decorations and lights in the downtown area and restoring the former International Paper animated decorations.
It has raised over $100,000 since its inception and helped create annual events that so many look forward to, such as the Annual Christmas Tree Lighting, Gumbo Cook-off and the Christmas Family FunFest.
Through its continued efforts, the Christmas in Natchez Committee is responsible for the lights in Memorial Park, which are enjoyed year-round.
Our Committee is planning more events for families to enjoy during the very festive season. Please take a second to like our Facebook page, titled “Christmas in Natchez,” to stay up to date on our events.
Put on your black and gold and get ready for some Sunday football on Sept. 30. Who Dat!
